Our week in London, England, was an incredible experience filled with food, sightseeing, and some truly memorable moments. We dove right into the city’s food and drink scene, enjoying everything from cozy pub meals and rich pints to relaxing coffee shop stops and delicious Italian and sushi dinners. Every meal felt like its own little adventure, and it gave us a great taste—literally—of London’s diverse dining culture. Traveling around the city was an experience in itself; riding the Underground (or the Tube, as the locals call it) was fast, efficient, and actually kind of fun once we got the hang of it. Of course, we couldn’t pass up the classic hop-on, hop-off double-decker bus for a day, which was the perfect way to soak in all the sights without worrying about navigating.

We checked off all the big landmarks and must-see attractions, including a scenic riverboat cruise on the Thames, which gave us a whole new perspective of the city. It was such a great first-time experience, and we’re so glad we had the chance to enjoy it together. We have lots more to share about the places we visited and the things we discovered (so keep an eye out for future posts if London is on your travel list!). That said, while we loved our week, we probably wouldn’t dedicate another full week solely to England in the future. London could definitely be a great starting point for a larger European trip, though—maybe a couple of days here before heading off to Belgium, the Netherlands, or even northern France. For now, we’re just grateful we finally experienced London, and it’s a trip we’ll always remember.
